That's how Kyle Cassidy describes Sherman in this wonderful blog post. It sums up the little guy's eager demeanor so well and I was thinking of the phrase the other day while visiting Sherman.
There's a high-backed sofa in his quarters and I was standing behind it when he jumped up onto the back. Sherman then placed his two front paws near my right shoulder. For a moment, I thought he was going to jump aboard like some strange cat-parrot hybrid. Instead, he stayed there purring and I realized he was actually being careful to remind me: I'm here. Pet me. Please.
As if anyone could forget!
